Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Macro AI account and all associated data at any time.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (fastest)

Open Macro AI on your phone, then:

1. Tap the Profile tab
2. Tap Settings
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account
4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address you used to create your account:

We process requests within 3 business days and confirm completion by email.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following is removed permanently:

• Your profile (name, age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goals, medical history, preferences)
• Your meal log and food history
• Body check-ins, measurements, and progress photos
• Custom recipes you created
• Workout log entries
• Favorites and fasting history
• Authentication record (email address and any linked Apple / Google sign-in)

What is not deleted

Some records are kept after deletion for legal or fraud-prevention reasons:

• Subscription transaction records are retained by Apple App Store / Google Play and our payment processor (RevenueCat) for the period required by tax and consumer-protection laws (typically 7 years). These records are anonymous transaction identifiers, not personal data.
• Aggregate, anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.

If you have an active subscription

Deleting your Macro AI account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To cancel:

• iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Macro AI → Cancel
• Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Macro AI → Cancel
