We aim to reply within two business days. When reporting an issue, please include your device model, operating system version, App version (Settings → About), and a description of what happened.

Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone or iPad: open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select Macro AI, and tap Cancel Subscription.

On Android: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, tap Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions, select Macro AI, and tap Cancel subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep premium features until then.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by Meralte Labs.

How does the free trial work?

New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. To avoid being charged when the trial ends, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial period ends, using the steps above.

How accurate is the AI photo recognition?

Macro AI uses GPT-4o Vision to estimate the contents and nutrition of a meal from a photo. Estimates are best-effort and will sometimes be wrong, especially for mixed dishes, sauces, and hidden ingredients. Always review the estimate before logging.

Where is my data stored?

Your profile, food log, custom recipes, body measurements, and progress photos are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to a Meralte Labs server. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Can I export my data?

Data export is on our roadmap. For now, you can request a copy of any data we hold by emailing info@meralte.io.

I lost my data after switching phones

Because the App stores data locally, switching devices or reinstalling the App will reset your log. We're working on optional cloud backup. In the meantime, you can take screenshots of important entries before reinstalling.

The App is crashing

Please email info@meralte.io with your device model, OS version, App version, and the steps that lead to the crash. We treat crash reports as our highest priority.

I want to delete my data

Uninstalling the App removes everything stored on your device. If you have an active subscription, follow the cancellation steps above first. To request deletion of the anonymous subscription identifier we receive from RevenueCat, email info@meralte.io with your request.
